About me
Anastasia Stasenko is the co-founder of the French startup Pleias, which developed the first LLMs trained exclusively on permissively licensed data. She has also coordinated the collection of CommonCorpus, the largest open dataset for training LLM. Among her recent projects is the development of Albert, the first sovereign AI co-pilot assisting French civil servants in responding to citizen requests. She has also conducted the development of local offline LLM assistants, notably for frontier health workers and school teachers in West Africa.
In addition to her role at Pleias, she holds the position of Associate Professor at Sorbonne-Nouvelle University, where she co-directs the master's program in Digital Communication and Data Analysis.
