State of Open Con 2025

Kevin is the Chair of the UK Open Government Network (UK OGN), which brings together civil society and government to co-create policy commitments for the UK’s UK National Action Plan for Open Government. These plans, developed every two years, promote transparent, accountable, and participatory governance and are part of the UK’s obligations as a member of the Open Government Partnership (OGP), a global initiative comprising 77 countries. Kevin also serves as Co-Chair of the UK Multistakeholder Forum, overseeing the development and implementation of these commitments alongside representatives from both government and civil society. 

A speaker and published writer on open government, innovation, and building trust, Kevin has spoken at high-level European and global events, and has been published in leading national newspapers. Additionally, he has drafted works for senior political leaders, including former Prime Ministers, and public figures on strengthening democracy and assisted with number one bestsellers on strategy, leadership and engaging people in politics.
